Comments/Suggestions:
1. The eye make literally made her look like she was catching fire. The colors are all beatiful. Sugarpill is known for their super pigmented shades, so you will enjoy great color payoffs.

2. This tutorial is so great because the pictures are of good quality and she was able to teach you how to do this look in an easy-to-follow format.

3. Eyeshadow base is essential for this look because the colors need to stand out. She used a white eyeshadow base for this. White creates a great canvas for these bright shades.

4. You can use cream eyeshadows as your base. However, if you don’t have one, an eye primer will do just fine.

5. This is a very dramatic look that’s great to wear during Halloween.

6. As for the rest of your face, you have to create a flawless face. Prep your skin first and use a face primer. This will ensure that your makeup is applied smoothly. Cover any areas with a good concealer and keep your face matte by using a translucent powder.

7. Use false eyelashes if you want to make your eyes look more dramatic. You can layer two lashes together. Line the lash band with a good quality lash glue. Wait for at least 30 minutes for it to get tacky before sticking it on your lash area.

Gold, Champagne and Black Eye makeup TutorialImage – themoonmaiden-blix.blogspot.com

If you want to go for a quick smokey eye, here’s a tutorial by The MoonMaiden Blix that will teach you how to create this gorgeous make up look!

Tools and Materials Needed:

Make Up Products:
1. Eye Primer
2. Eyeshadow Base
3. Shimmery Black Eyeshadow
4. Gold Eyeshadow
5. Champagne Colored Eyeshadow
6. Black Liquid Eyeliner
7. Black Mascara

Tools:
1. Flat Eyeshadow Brush
2. Blending Brush
3. False Eyelashes

Comments/Suggestions:

1.This is a really pretty eye look that is great for nighttime. It’s also a look that you can wear with anything since it’s pretty neutral.

2.Eyeshadow primers and eyeshadow bases are quite different from each other. A primer helps in preventing your eyeshadows from creasing and it also makes your eye make up last longer. It preps your skin so that the shadows will stick on better. Eyeshadow base on the other hand, creates a blank canvas. It makes the colors look more vibrant. Eyeshadow base is optional, but they are very useful for intense make up looks.

3.You can make your own eyeshadow primer at home! Just mix equal amounts of unscented body butter, cream/liquid foundation and concealer. Put this mixture in a small container so that you can use them in the future. It costs less than the popular ones in the market.

4.You don’t have to buy the exact brands that she has. You can always look for similar alternatives.

5.When it comes to curling your lashes, use a curler that will fit your eye area perfectly. if you want to get long-lasting curls, try to heat it with a blow dryer. Let the blow dryer warm it up for a few seconds or so and then test the heat with your fingers. If it’s tolerably warm, you can then curl your lashes with it.

6.If you want to go for a more innocent, sweeter look, put on a nudish-pink lipstick. Dab a bit of gloss on the middle of your lips and slightly blend it with your pinkie finger.

7.You can make your false lashes appear natural by curling it with your natural lashes and then applying a couple of coats of mascara.

How To Style A Beehive

HOW TO STYLE A BEEHIVEImage – http://www.abeautifulmess.com/

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is a classic movie that made Audrey Hepburn a household name. Her hairstyle is one of the hottest trends of that era. It’s called the Beehive or the B-52. It looks similar to the bulbous nose of the B-52 Stratofortress bomber.

Nowadays, it’s considered as a vintage hairstyle. Many people still use it to style their hair for formal occasions, but it’s more of adding a modern twist to it.

Here’s a great hair tutorial that will show you how to create this wonderful hairstyle. The link is after our commentary…

Tools Needed:
1. Bath Loofa
2. A Piece of Fabric
3. Rubber Bands for Hair
4. Bobby Pins
5. Hairspray

Comments/Suggestions:
1. This is a really beautiful hairstyle and it’s a great tutorial because the pictures are of good quality and the camera work is superb. You can easily follow through the steps because they took extra care by writing the captions under each picture. It’s also nice that they’ve added a shot of the finished hairstyle at an event.

2. This uses a LOT of hairspray. This is because your hairstyle will hold better. After teasing your hair, Hold it up and spritz with some hairspray. Let it stay on for a few seconds more before letting go. This step will ensure that the hairstyle won’t budge for a few hours without any touch-ups.

3. It looks really interesting on girls who have brightly colored hair. If you’re looking for something fun and adventurous, try coloring your hair in bright blue or purple. You can even go for reds! Manic Panic sells great shades.

4. When it comes to coloring your hair, you have to make sure that your tresses are well moisturized. Deep condition your hair at least twice a week and use a shampoo every other day. As much as possible, try to avoid heat tools but if you can’t help it, use a heat protectant.

5. Add some interesting hair clips or pins to your hairstyle. It adds character to your look. Go out of the box and choose something unexpected. A glittery star or a rhinestone headband will do the trick.

Tools Needed:
1.Brush/Comb
2.Hair Elastics
3.Bobby Pins

Comments/Suggestions:
1. It’s a really simple but pretty hair tutorial. It kinda reminds you of the 1950’s movie Sound of Music. In the movie, some of the women and kids were wearing milkmaid braids. Aside from its aesthetic reasons, it’s also a great hairstyle to wear because it keeps it away from the face while you’re working.

2. The pictures are beautiful and the wallpaper made the hairstyle look all the more spring like.

3. It’s great for those who have ombre hair colors because of the lovely contrast. It’s still a pretty big trend so try to ask your favorite hair stylist for any recommendations on what type of colors will suit your skin tone.

4. Always make sure that your hair is properly maintained. Use products that are specific to your hair type. Deep condition your hair at least two times a week. Distribute a good amount of conditioner on your hair and concentrate more on the tips. Gather your hair together in a plastic shower cap and let it stay on for at least 10 minutes. Rinse well with water.

5. This hairstyle will only work on those who have long hair.

6. Use a good hair serum that will add more softness and shine to your hair. On damp, towel-dried hair rub a few drops of serum between your hands and distribute it evenly on your hair, concentrating on the ends. Leave it on overnight.

7. Try to use decorative hair pins. For the spring and summer, go for simple flower pins. As for fall and winter, opt for rhinestone clips. It’s up to you to choose any accessories. It will surely fit your personality.

8. This hairstyle will look great on flowy blouses and sheer tops. Collared shirts will look great with this too!

9. If you still want a more in-depth tutorial, you can search for videos on Youtube.

10. Practice this hairstyle on a friend’s hair so that you will able to eventually do it on your own.

Comments/Suggestions:
1. It’s a really beautiful make up look. The mom (Jackie Thomas) looks so gorgeous! The pictures are great and the blog post was nicely edited. It’s also nice that they placed pictures of the make up products that they’ve used.

2. It’s recommended that you prep your skin before applying any make up. It will keep your skin smooth and supple.

Start with a clean face and then soak a cotton pad with some toner to help remove any remaining residue and to also minimize the pores. Next, apply a good amount of moisturizer and pat your skin so that the product will be easily absorbed.

You can also use a sheet mask. Let it stay on your face for at least 10-15 minutes. Take out the mask and pat your skin until the serum is absorbed.

3. The eye primer that was used for this tutorial is a little expensive. If you want a cheaper alternative, mix your own primer at home. Combine equal parts of cream/liquid foundation, concealer and body butter.

4. If you want your false lashes to stick on better, allow the glue to get tacky. Wait for at least 30 seconds before applying it on the lash area.

5. Curl your lashes so that they will look more awake.
